Overwatch 2 players have quite a few stats to keep in mind while playing, and they range much further away from how many hours you have in-game. You can check your global rating, how popular your Heroes are, and where you land on the Competitive ladder.

You can check your stats in-game, but there are also ways to check them outside of the game to get a more in-depth view. This is how to check your stats in Overwatch 2.

Overwatch 2 stats and how to check them in-game

Overwatch 2 gives players the option to check their overall performance in Career Profile, Hero Mastery stats, and Global leaderboards.

How to check Overwatch 2 Career Profile stats

1. Go to Career Profile on the left side of the Overwatch 2 menu.
2. Go to the ‘Overview‘ tab to check your overall stats.
3. Got to the ‘Statistics’ tab on the top of the screen to check your Hero-specific stats.

If you want to check your Overwatch 2 stats, open the game and click on ‘Career Profile’ on the left side of the screen. Once you are in your Career Profile, you have the option to check your overview, progression, and achievements in the menu at the top of the screen.

Your overview will let you check the time played on each Hero, your overall time played, and how much time you sink into each game mode the game has to offer. You can check stats like healing, damage, Ultimate-specific stats, and more.

If you want a more in-depth look at a specific Hero, you can click on the “Change Hero” button, select their name, and you will automatically be taken to the statistics tab. You can check your performance across all Competitive seasons you have taken part in, Quick Play, and all Arcade modes.

How to check Overwatch 2 Hero mastery stats

To check your Overwatch 2 Hero Mastery performance on the leaderboard, you can go to the Hero Mastery mode in the ‘Play’ menu.

1. Go to the ‘Play‘ menu in Overwatch 2.
2. Click on ‘Hero Mastery.’
3. Click on the Hero you would like to check.
4. Click the leaderboard option on the right of the screen.

Once you are in Hero Mastery, click on the specific Hero you would like to check. When you are taken to the screen where you can choose to play the courses, click on the ‘Leaderboard’ option on the right side of the screen.

Here you can check how your friends are performing alongside you, and you can check the global leaderboard. To switch to the global leaderboard, simply remove the tick from the friends icon on the top right of the screen.

To check Overwatch 2 leaderboards, players need to go to the Competitive mode in the Play menu.

1. Go to the ‘Play‘ menu in Overwatch 2.
2. Click on Competitive mode.
3. Click on ‘Leaderboards‘ on the right side of the screen.

When you are in the menu of the mode you have selected, click on the leaderboards option on the right-hand side of the screen. Here you can see how your friends are doing, similar to Hero Mastery, and you can check leaderboards for Europe, America, and Asia.

How to check your global Overwatch 2 stats

There are Overwatch 2 specific websites that allow you to check your stats, and we will be focusing on Overbuff.

1. Ensure your Overwatch 2 profile is set to public.
2. Go to the Overbuff website.
3. Enter your Battle tag.

Overwatch 2 doesn’t have global stats for Quick Play, but you can check these on Overbuff. Go to the Overbuff website and type in your Battle tag. Make sure your profile is public, otherwise it will not be able to track your stats.

To set your profile to public, go to the options menu in Overwatch 2 and click on the ‘Social’ tab at the top of the screen. The very first option on that screen will let you set your profile to public, and you can easily change it again afterward.

While Overbuff gives a lot of the same information as Overwatch 2, it also gives you an overview of what percentile player you are globally. Overbuff also lets you see your ability performance per 10 minutes, which gives you a good overview of how you are performing overall.
