The Senior Oracle Fusion Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Oracle Fusion applications to meet the organization’s business requirements. This role involves working closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of Oracle Fusion solutions.

Key Accountabilities

1. Application Development

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and implement Oracle Fusion applications based on business requirements.
• Design and implement data models, database schemas, and Oracle Fusion Middleware components.
• Develop and maintain Oracle Fusion applications using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Customize and extend Oracle Fusion applications using Oracle ADF, SOA, and other relevant technologies.
• Ensure compliance with Oracle data architecture, Fusion architecture, and audit practices.

2. Integration and Interfaces

• Design, develop and maintain integrations between Oracle Fusion applications and other enterprise systems.
• Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between Oracle Fusion and other business systems.

3. Technical Leadership

• Provide support and guidance to application development team with SQL tuning, data modelling, data refresh, code migration, and performance testing.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge to enhance team capabilities.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, design, and architecture.

4. Performance Optimization

• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting as needed.

5. Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and understand business and other requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

6. Documentation and Compliance

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of development processes, customizations, and configurations.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

Knowledge

• Oracle Fusion Applications: In-depth understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM, and CRM modules
• Oracle ADF (Application Development Framework): Proficiency in using Oracle ADF for web-based application development
• Oracle SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture): Knowledge of Oracle SOA Suite for creating and managing web services
• Oracle Integration Cloud: Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud for system integrations
• Programming Languages: Strong skills in Java, SQL, and PL/SQL
• Middleware Technologies: Understanding of Oracle Fusion Middleware components and configurations
• Database Management: Knowledge of Oracle databases, including performance tuning
• Business Processes and Requirements: Understanding and analysing business processes in finance, HR, supply chain, and CRM
• Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
• Performance Optimization: Techniques for optimizing application performance and scalability
• Regulatory Requirements: Awareness of relevant regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX)
• Documentation Standards: Best practices for maintaining comprehensive development documentation
• Knowledge of data warehouse modelling techniques and ETL solutions
• Intensive knowledge of Oracle SaaS applications and its capabilities

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Advanced degree preferred)
• Oracle Cloud Applications (SaaS) Certifications, Oracle PaaS Certifications (Application Development, Application Integration, Cloud Platform Data Management)

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Oracle Fusion application development
• Extensive experience with Oracle ADF, SOA, and other Oracle technologies
• Strong expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), and BI Publisher
• Practical knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Proven track record of delivering successful Oracle Fusion projects
